New Year Eve 31 DEC 2006

Having BBQ Steamboat @ home before meeting up the guys.

Hon Huang suggest going to the Esplanade to celebrate the New Year.

Meeting Point: City Hall Control Station @ 9pm.

Was there early, went window shopping wih Cat @ Raffles City...

Hon Huang had reached, but Richard is still in Woodlands.
While waiting for Richard, went to BK for Dinner...
Too full to eat, but still, shared a Chocolate Pie with Cat.

It was 10.35pm, went to the Esplanade.
It was so packed, even when crossing the traffic,

we had to waited for 15mins before our turn to cross the road.
And had to walk one big round to go in, instead of the main entrance.

A sudden down pour @ 10.55pm, everyone rushing in to take shelter.
We are like standing in the shelter doing nothing, so BORING..
The rain had stopped, we walked out to the bridge, to get a clearer view of the firework as there is a road closure.

After the firework end, people rush toward the exist.
Took 1hr to reach Boat Quay.

Had a drink and some light snacks at one of the Thai Restaurant.

It was 2.30am le, was feeling a bit sleepy liao.
Hon Huang still dun want to go home.

So Richard say he will send me home, and he will contiune his night with Cat.

In the End, everyone went off...

Cab was difficult to catch.

Walk to Clarke quay, then to City Hall, still no cab available.

Saw the Night Rider, hop on and decided to drop somewhere that Cab is widely available.
If not, dunno what time would we reach home.

So tired that i dozed off, and been wake up by CAT that we reach Woodlands check-point.
Took a cab from there, and end our night outing....
Reach home @ 5am, Bath and went to bed @ 5.45am...
