Dinner at Crystal Jade and follow on with a movie at 9.10pm

3rd day CNY (28 JAN 2009)

It was the 3rd day of CNY.
Everyone was working except mi.

But well, there’s still CAT…
She’s also on leave.

We had make a date to go shopping and as well to see the LV bag that I always dream of.
I wanted that since 1 year ago, but dint dare to go into the boutique coz I dint buy,
Then the sales person will give u a look like you dun hv the money to buy.

Cat say she will accompany me, not to worry lah.Maybe just my psychology barrier ba,.

Now I cant decide to get Gucci or LV.
Both price is different by S$50.

Cat ask mi to get LV as the value of the bag is higher, and if it kana stained, it is easier to remove. As Gucci is made of canvas material.

I m thinking of buying it on the spot, but hesitation pull mi back.
I was juz wondering, with the recession going on, should I buy it or should I hold on to it.

I duno???

In the end, I brought nothing.
Maybe few months down the road or admire it from far year after year.

Reach home about 4pm
And was preparing for work for next day… L Sad…

2nd day CNY ( 27 JAN 2009

It was the 2nd day of CNY.
Today going to 3 places only.

Wake up at 10am, dress up and wait for Bro to fetch us to 2nd Auntie house in Bedok.


Had our breakfast, and reach 2nd auntie house at 11.30am
Dad is working therefore we him @ 2nd auntie house.

This year got addition AngBao from my newly married cousin who is, think about 40 plus year old ba.

He is smiling all over when distributing the AngBao, Nevertheless, everyone was happy to receive the additional AngBao.

We left about 1.30pm to 5th uncle house in Lor Malayu.
Had our lunch there, and together we set up a small “GAMBLING DEN”
Within youngest Auntie, us,and 5th uncle.

I lose S$18 after 2hours of gambling.
Well, not too bad lah.
It was 4.30pm when we left for Eldest uncle house in Kim Keat.

It was only 6pm when we reach home, body was aching, had a hot bath, thought of going to bed early, but Dad say we still had not went to 3rd Auntie house in Clementi.

No choice lor, dress simply in a T-shirt and jean, dun feel like putting on make-up, but mum say I look very pale, ask mi to put on some light one.

Hee… Put Blusher only…

7.30pm ~ Bro is here again to fetch us for dinner.
Had our dinner at one of the coffee house in Sembawang near Bro place.

In the mist of eating, I ask Dad, “Had you call Auntie, we are going?”
Dad: No..
Me: Wow lau, you din call, then ask us go , wait she not at home, wasted our time go there.
So far and waste petrol also.

Luckily I ask, else we go and waste our trip, they are not at home.
Well, We had our dinner and went home shortly after that.

It was 10.30pm that I call it a day..

1st day of CNY 26 JAN 2009 / MON

It was the 1st day of CNY.
Wake up at 8.30am, take my own sweet preparing myself.

At 9am, Bro and family is here, but I still in my PJ.
Ha..Ha..

Mum asked mi to hurry up.
Everyone was waiting for me to take my AngBao before they can take.

Yah, coz after Bro married, I am the eldest in the family le.
So they have to wait for mi to take my AngBao first.
Haha…
Damn Bad hor…. ;P

Everyone having their “tian tang” except mi coz I still bathing.
Forgotten totally about it.

9.15am – I was ready.
Dressed up and take AngBao from Mum & Dad, Bro & Sis-in-law.

This is what the 3 youngest Kukus’ waiting for.

At about 9.30am, we set off from home.

As usual, we went to 2 temples in Bedok to pray to our grandparent and to the god.

Then reach grandma house at 10.40am. (in Bedok)
Mum burn some offering and we just lazed around, waiting for 5th uncle and family to arrive.
Together we set off…

11.30am ~ went to 4th Auntie house (Bedok)
12.15pm ~ went to 2nd Uncle house (Bedok)
1.45pm ~ Youngest Auntie house to have Steamboat (it seems very routine every year)
And at the same time, booked our movie tickets.
4pm ~ went to Eldest Uncle house (Bedok)

After Eldest uncle house, we part with 5th uncle.
And there we proceed to Toa Payoh.

4.25pm ~ Toa Payoh
Grand Auntie, this is the place where can “Koto” more AngBao.
But also dun like to stay long one. Coz all old people.Very boring.

5.15pm ~ went to Grandma House in AMK.
7.10pm ~ went to Eldest Auntie House in Seragoon

At 9.45pm reach home (At last)
Damn tiring..

Bath and rest for 1 hour.
Bro came to fetch us at 10.15pm for the movie.
Show at Bishan Junction 8 at 11.05pm.

Wear my PJ to the movie.
Hee..
Very tired leh, Lazy to change, thinking of reach home, just lie flat on my bed.
Any way, my PJ, is a jogging pants (that those Yoga enthusiastic wear)

Daddy was hungry, went to Hans at Upper Thomson Road as it is open 24 hours.
Mummy and I share a Carbonara Pie.
Daddy had his porridge share with us.

Bro and Sis-in-law share a Lamb Chop.
Jonathan had his omelette,

Sis did not go coz MZ not going.

Reach home about 2.15am.
What a day… And I have a slip of my "tian tang" before I called it a day..

25 JAN 2009 (SUN) CNY EVE (ABALONES DAY)

This year suppose to be a RECESSSION YEAR but duno why so many abalones.
Enuf abalones for one of us each for the 8 of us.
Think still have balance for the 15th days of CNY.

I cant remember how many Abalones, but I got 1 from my company hamper.
1 can of Abalone for the Lucky Draw. (Damn Lucky hor)
Mum brought 1 cans of Abalones for NTUC and 6 Fresh one with the Shell on from the Wholesales market.
Bro brought 2 cans of Abalones.
2 cans at home...

Ha…Ha.. So many Abalones this year..

Of Course, I took one and reserve for myself.

This is my ABALONE ...

Cut ½ of it and want to reserve for maggi mee supper some other nites.

Left on the table with those food. When I went to the toilet and come out, my ½ abalone gone.
Daddy eaten my ½ abalone..

Got so many slice on the table, dun take, take my big big piece want.
Sis also have a piece not cut one on the table, but din take, of all abalone, take mine.

Sad ar…
I dun wan those sliced one.
Nan de got the chance to have 1 abalone by myself, I wan to bite the whole piece and slowly enjoy it.
But gone le… Snob.. Snob… :(

Never mind, mum say she kip my Lucky draw Abalone for mi, I got another big big abalone waiting for mi...

17 JAN 2009 (SAT) Motivation course

No work on Sat but still got to wake up very early.
Just to go for this motivation course.

Haizz..
May as well, else stay at home think of lots of rubbish thing & make myself sad.

I was like a zombie before the class start, thought it was a normal classroom, lecturer thingy.
But Heng ar..
A lots of team building work and discussion.

There will 28 of us, and had been divided into 5 different group by the trainer.

Wah lah, damn suay.
Work c my boss and after work still happen to be in the same team.
But overall ok lah.
And never to forget my MD is also in the same team with us.

Whew ('.')"

1st game which involve everyone.

We are to form a circle, collect a chopstick each and never to let go of one another chopstick.

- To face outside the circle without letting go the chopstick

- and to face inside the circle without letting the chopstick again.

After a bit of discussion shouting here and there, we decided to hv a try.
And yes, we did it...

Our 2nd game,
is to build a tower as high as possible with the material given and it must be stable.
Material given incl.
- 2 ballons
- newspaper
- A4 size paper
- white tape

Then we must name our tower and why we give such a name.

But if i dun climb up, hw m i going to build the tallest tower,

Kabashima san had notice that each of us has our own role when we did not even discuss who doing wat?

Charlyn - kip tearing the tape for our use
Kabashima san & Christine - kip taping the tower, ensure it it tape properly
Nakamura san & mi - Kip emphasing on the height..

That explain why i m on top of the table.

Time pass very fast, and we had our lunch.
After lunch we had our 3rd game.

3rd game
Each of us had an "Apple" & "Banana" in our heart.

Once the horn sound, we must get close to our "Apple" but not near to our "Banana"

If your "Banana" is near you, u got to move away.

The problem is my Apple is "Whye Whye" and Banana is "Shanti".

We kip avoiding each other but in the end we give out.
The trainer from far already know wat going on.

Haha..

Then we are back to our classroom.
This time to do a personal self accessment.

And I am a "PEOPLE ORIENTED" person.

The Last game, proceed to the next room again.

So many paper plates on the floor.
There are colour number written on it.

We have to open one by one given the trainer want us to do in a time frame of 6mins.
eg. open blue no. from 1~20 or red no. from 20~1.

We failed twiced and the trainer gv us another difficult task.
asking us to open Green no. 1~10, Blue no. 11~20

Of course for the 3rd time, we failed again.
The 1 time, we open 2 paper plates
2nd time, we open 1 paper plates.
3rd time, there was none.


The trainer challange us and say the previous group did it in 6mins, this group is lousy.,

And ask us to give up.

Forgot to mention.
There is even penalty, our body cant go inside the white line except when u hold the key to it.

With the key, u can only step into the white line and to tap on the plates, else penalty is to do the Penguin dance alone or with group member decided by the trainer.

No choice, as not to waste time, dance loh... Anyway, i m nt the 1st one nor only one to kana.

At last for the 4th tried, we manage to get thru by 5.59 sec.

Woow...

Sweat...

Else if it is more then 6.01sec, we will be like banging..

End of the course.

Having a dicussion on what we learn and how we can motivate one another

Nevertheless, the course is not as boring as I think intially.

It was fun, it allow mi to build bond with my colleagues unless when we are in the office.

We get to know one other characteristic and to get close with my MD..

Ha.Ha.....

And do u know wat. the trainer reveal that in actual fact we did better then previous group.

They did not manage to finish on time.

After course, rush down to Clementi Sakura to meet CAT and fren for dinner.

She do not want mi to stay at home, afraid that mymind will bring mi to somewhere else.

Her purpose also to introduce new guyfren to mi and to walk out of the shadow.

Haizz..

But why of all place Clementi Sakura, near Dan house, do not wan to go intiallym but why should I restrict myself from going place.

No, I told myself, And so there I am.

Did enjoy myself, but din eat much, no appettite.

This is perharp the last movie with the guy that i spend 2 years with.

We had finally end our 2 year relationship on 12 JAN 2009 n i will cherish every single moment of the time spend together.

It sad and is hard to let go initially, i failed bt i pull myself again given the encouragement from frens..

Those were the painful and sleepless nite, but i was lucky to overcome it by keeping myself busy n totally engross in work for the whole week.

It is the J-sox auditing, well, i did brood over it when i m alone, thinking about the happy time, in HK, in Bangkok, in JB, in Sentosa, watching Horror movie at home, hugging mi to sleep, gv mi a morning kiss on the forehead when u awake every sunday n spending time to watch Doremon, shopping for the one i loved, fight for mi n protect mi from harm, there so much memory, be it good or bad. It still our memory.
