Wed (31 May 06) Fall in the Office

Went to work as usual...

About 11.30am, my stomach start hurting again, thought that I could bear with it and just continue with my work.

But never did I expect that both my legs would go "JELLY"
While I step out off my place, immediately, i had a "FALL"
I try to lift myself out but to no available, and had a 2nd FALL.

I sprain my ankle TWICE, but did'nt felt the PAIN.

Cat was sitting opposite me, of course she saw me Fall, so did my colleague sitting behind me.
She quickly hold me up to my seat.

Seeing how TERRIBLE I felt, she seek surounding for "HELP", calling here and there.
I wanted to finish my last schedule and went off after that, also cannot cause they all insisted me to see the DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.

Peter Chew send me to the Polyclinic at Noon, Luckily he was there with Me, cause the Polyclinic is closing soon, and they don't accept walk-in anymore, he persuade the staff-nurse and we went our way through to the DOCTOR.

Immediately, the doctor write me a REFFERAL LETTER to TTSH and there I proceed to with the help of Peter Chew car.

I was send to the A & E departmart, and immediately without "Q" ing for long, it was my turn.




This is the day when I was admitted.
A sticket been stick to my Jacket.
My temperature record @ 37.8 deg







At 2pm, DAD arrived and Peter Chew pass the paton to DAD in looking after me.

I was put on OBSERVATION the whole day, no appeitte at all.

Evening @ 5.30pm, the doctor came to me and told my MUM that I had to be warded as my condition seem to be worsen and they need to observe me.

It was a long wait to get my BED in the WARD. IT's FULLY BOOKED, hospital also fully booked ar.....

At 9.30pm, i told my Family not to wait with me to got to the WARD, as I don't what time they are going to send me.

Even My brother and Sister who is here can't visit me as well cause they only allow one person at a time to see me and within a time frame...
So there's no point to stay any longer as I had also checked with the nurse that i might only get my bed in the MIDDLE of the NIGHT or the NEXT MORNING.

It was a TORTURE to stay at the OBSERVATION WARD the whole night.
My stomach was hurting, my right leg which I had Sprain started to hurt, and the BED is UNCOMFORTABLE.

About 1am, i told the nurse that it was so painful that the PAIN is UNBEARABLE, she told me to bear with it and the Doctor will be here soon.

It was so PAINFUL, but after a few hours the pain started to slow down...

Guess what???

The doctor only came here at 5am in the morning to see me....
No more pain liao then come, i waited for 4 hrs, and still didn't give me medicine to stop my pain, rather stay at home, pain still can self-medical.

They took a BLOOD TEST but they poked so many time, 6 TIMES before they get the right one, OUCH, so PAIN... It's my FRESH & MEAT mah, of course they just poke only lah.

12pm, I was wheel to my Ward...

Mum B'day (26 May)

It was Mum B'day.

Take a 1/2 day leave as well as I am having a very bad STOMACHE.
When Mum came home at 3.30pm, she saw me lying on the Bed and ask what happen to me.
Am I SICK, I shooked my head and point to my stomach.


A while later, the pain stopped, and guess I am able to go out for DINNER with Mum to celebrate her b'day at Marina Square.

Well, the pain is still there except it is bearable...

Met up with Kor Kor & wife at WARAKU, a Japanese Resturant.

We had a heartfelt dinner and had a stroll around Marina Square Shopping Mall.

21 May 06 (SUN)

Meeting up with my Dear @ 2.30am in the morning as his flight just touch down.
Could I consider this a late Sat night or an early Sunday morning?...

Accompany Dear to Odeon Tower MacDonald for his Supper as he is feeling Hungry.
@4am, we will knock out as we have to catch the 10.30pm Da Vinci @ Marina Square.


Well, the show was rather Complicated, but all they want is to find out where "Mary Magdelene" body is lying (Jesus wife) and dunno what?? (to destroy the Royal Blood)

It is rather a long show, last about 2hrs 30mins.




We catch a bite at the Hotel and Dear had to prepare and pack for his trip to Brisbane.
Bid each other Good Bye @ 2.15pm...

Went home and glue to the net since then....

Chill Out - 19 May (Fri)

Early @ 9am+++

Hon Huang came over to our table and ask us where we will be going tonight.

Joking, we say "Ok, Let go" Never did we know he take it for REAL...

Then I turn my head and ask Dennis,
"R you FREE tonight, we go out and Chill?"

He also si zai "ON" and say Ok, Where???

Wow, me & Cat expect he say "No" loh cause very last min as we don't know if he need to acompany his wife...

Since he say ok, then we go loh since we are the one who suggest it.

But I forgot that I have to go for my 1st driving lesson today...
Very Rush ar... Lesson @ 6.30pm

Initially meeting CAT @ 9.30pm, those Guys @ 10.30pm.
But I change my mind and meet CAT @ 8.15pm instead straight after my Lesson.

Off Duty @ 5.30pm, Reach home about 6.00pm.
Quickly head straight into the bathroom and told DAD that he must ask me to come out if I am not out by 6.15pm..

6.10pm, Dad knock on the door and say "Girl, 6.10pm already, you got 5 mins left."

6.15pm- out from the bathroom. While styling my short hair, I told my sis to bring out 2 bags from the bedroom and help me to transfer item to another bag..

DAD: You go learn driving, no need wear so nice one lah.

(i was wear a purple blouse and a jean only lah)

ME: I going out later lah, Actually I want to wear more nice nice want ar, wait I scare, dunno where the instructor want to bring me to, then i kana rape or molest....

6.25pm- out of the house, happen the bus is here, hop onto it.
So I am not late loh, but the instructor is late 10mins...

Met up with my instructor, he drove me to the End of Yishun Industrial park where not many cars would go...

He first explain on how the CAR function and teach me how to listen to the Car engine.
When he told me to take over the Car from him, I was very Ka Chiong and say huh, so fast ar?

I get to drive the Car ahead and to reverse the Car, but i remember when the Car first started to move, I was "KA CHIONG" and I say....

ME: Ar.... the car moving leh, how ar?
Got lorry parking in front leh, I think I want to bang into it liao.

Instr. : Of course, the car moving lah, but you won't bang into the Lorry want lah, it still so FAR away from us....

Driving a Manuel Car was really difficult ar....

Guess what my Right foot was on the Clutch, and my Left foot on the Floor board....
Ha... Ha....
This is when he ask me to Brake and I "KA CHIONG" mah....

End of Lesson, my instructor commented that my Braking is very Loussy>>
Need more pratice on it..

End Lesson @ 8.10pm....

Met up with CAT @ 8.15pm @ Yishun MRT, and head to Orchard for my dinner...
We had our dinner @ C-Jade @ Wisma Atria...

So we take a walk down some of the pubs and to my surprised, all are pack...

It only 10.15pm only what, i remember it was not that pack when I usually go

there at that same time.

No choice, but to call Dennis about the on-going situation.

There no place we can sit or even at the bar counter.

In fact, they are opposite us sitting @ Starbuck John Little having with Joe & Girlfriend.

We went over and later move over to Starbuck @ California Fitness, as too many of us.

We were thinking of where to go since Emrald Hill Pub is all Pack...

At last and 11pm+++, we had decided to go to Boat Quay.

We settle down one of the Pubs, but could not get a place inside, as it is also pack, so we settle down by the Riverside...

The Pub is closing soon, the 2 Dennis suggest that we went for supper at Bugis...
So from Boat Quay we take a slow walk down to Bugis.

We went to MacDonald at Odeon tower, and had some snacks...

18 May 06 (Dennis B'day) Thur

11am

Cat & me was discussing on how to wish him HAPPY BIRTHDAY...

Dennis was sitting diagonally across me while CAt is sitting opposite me, we can just go or SHOUT out to him but, we do not want to make it so OBVIOUS, so we send him an email instead...

Somehow it is so FUNNY like we always feel that both of us don't DENNIS when we are in work. But outside work, we talk like we know one another... So WEIRD hor!!!

13 May 2006 (Sat)

Met up Ling @ Sembawang MRT @ 11am to go SUN-TANNING @ SENTOSA...
The weather seem good but never do we expect that it could RAIN when we reach HABOUR FRONT MRT station...

We got no choice but to head to the shopping mall...
We had our LUNCH @ NEW YORK PIZZA...

I could say that it is ready worth every single cent spent...
The Pizza was huge for a 1 person portion, Me and Ling share the huge Pizza...

After our Lunch, though the RAIN had stopped, we decided not to went into SENTOSA as the SAND will be WET.

So we planned to catch a MOVIE...

"POSEIDON" is what we are going to watch.


2.30pm
We head to Plaza Singapore, but saw a whole lots of ppl Q -ing, A long long Q.
We decided to watch @ Sembawang Sun Plaza knowing not much ppl will go there...

Since it is still early, We shopped around and at the same time looking for FRESH FLOWER for Mummy on MOTHER DAY's...

We brought a T-Shirt each, but no FRESH FLOWER for Mum...
All the Flower don't seem HEALTHY...
Ha...Ha...

5.30pm
But I still need to get something for MUM, Ling & Me was rushing for Time...

6.30pm
Reach Sun Plaza, head directly straight to the Cinema booth to purchase 2, 9.30pm tickets...
Giving ourselves more time allowance to do what we want.

6.45pm
@ Ling house, Left our Barang Barang @ her house, she grab the Comics that she rent and off we go in 15mins time.
Take BUS 859 and head to NORTH POINT, she went to return her Comics while I went to search for FRESH FLOWER...

At Last @ 8.25pm, I found some FRESH FLOWER @ COLD STORAGE...
Well, could say they are not as FRESH as what I want but they look better than others.
The FLOWER was not nicely wrapped up, I brought some nice Wrapping paper and quickly head to Ling house again...

Reach Ling house @ 8.50pm
Quickly, I wrapped up the Flower, Ling painting her chipped TOE NAILs...
Rushing for the 9.30pm show @ Sun Plaza, though it is less than 10 mins walks...

9.20pm
At last I finish wrapping up the flower. Ling help me to clear up the MESS...
5mins later we head out again, Ling MUM was wondering what are we up to???

Was 5mins LATE for the show, but luckily didn't miss much...
The Show was GOOD I could say. The impact really have an effect on me as well...

It is totally different from TITANIC, it not a LOVE story, it basically show how the GAINT ROUGE WAVE capsizes a LUXURY LINER in the middle of North Atlantic at the stroke of midnite on NEW YEAR day, and how some of the CAST escape the Liner... which is based on a REAL LIFE story happened in 1972...

Show end about 11pm and it time to say GOOD BYE and GOOD NITE....

Buying MUM b'day Present (8May 05)

It a Monday Morning.

As usual DAd will drive me to work....

In the Car, I mention to DAD "since you buying MUM b'day present by yourself, you go and buy yourself lah, why ask me go and buy"...

DAD: Wait I buy your MUM dun like how? Then Why not you go with me and buy?

ME: Ok loh... When?

DAD: Why not today since i have the Car for the whole day.

ME: Okie, I called KUKU along ( refering to my little Sis) Ha..Ha..
ME: Ar... we all go out tonight, then MUM alone at home,
she will ask us where we go one mah?

DAD: Yah hor.... think of a way...

AT work, i was thinking how to trick MUM....
The I called KUKU and DAD on how to proceed with our PLAN...

DAD drove me home @ 6.30pm...

The ACTING BEGIN.......

Long before I reach home, KUKU had already told MUM that she is meeting JANICE to pass her some VCD @ Yishun @ about 6.30pm-7pm...

Mum: I thought you meeting Janice @ 6.30pm, why you still @ home...
KUKU: " Ooh... Janice change time liao"

I reach home about 6.45pm, KUKU ask me why I am so Late today, I forgot to tell her I OT....
Ha.Ha....

When I stepped into the house, I told MUM....

Me: After dinner, I go Ah Ling house to take 'Driving Lesson book" from her.
MUM: Ok loh

DAD park his car and step in 10 mins later.

DAD: Later hor, i got RC talk @ Blk 486 @ 7.30pm
KUKU & ME: Huh! Dad, you going out also huh? At what time huh?
You driving rite?
Can drive us to Sembawang MRT and Ah Ling house a not.
DAD: Ok loh..
MUM: HUH??? how come all of you today suddenly going out? she in doubt,

All PRETENDING...... Ha.. Ha...
3 of us feel very BAD leaving MUM alone at home, but no Choice mah...

8.35pm finish buying what we want...

Me & Sis went home together left Dad again downstair parking his car.

Opening the DOOR....

MUM: Eh... Why the 2 of you together huh?

Sis & ME: We meet on the BUS lah...

Then I head straight to the Bathroom and had a quick bath...

8.50pm
I came out from the bathroom, saw DAD reading newspaper in the living room...

ME: Eh, you when come back? How come RC talk finish so early?

MUM: He just come back only lah, still say early, he say will reach home @ 8.30pm but now what time already...

DAD just smiling away while reading his newspaper....

Polling Day (6 May 05)

POLLING DAY...

At last, the day I had been waiting for.
1st time voting mah, so a bit like kah chiong loh...

Wake @ 10.30am, went to search for MUM, ask her what time are we going downstair huh???

She say anytime, once I am ready, I wash up my face and went down 15 mins later...

The Q was not long, we just have to wait for 10 mins for our turn...

I saw DAD at the table striking off name for those who came. . .
But I cannot call out "DADDY"
Before I step out from my bedroom door, I saw a note at the notice board, written by DADDY.
" Don't call me when you see me at the voting centre later, we cannot talk, everything have to be Silent"....

So when I saw DADDY, I told MUMMY "DADDY sitting over there, striking off the name"

And when it is my turn, I pass my coupon and my IC to the person...

He called out my name loudly the 1st time, i just look @ him, but he still called out my name again for the 2nd time, I thought, he does'nt recoginse me in my IC photo izzit, so I say
"ME, Me".
Then the person just ignore me and pass me the ticket, looking opposite to my DAD.
Actually to tell him to strike my name off from the list lah...
Wow lau.....
So MA LU leh.... I want to hide ar....

When i get hold of the Voting ticket, my hand suddenly shake a bit ar...
Like very KAH CHIONG leh...
Suddenly don't know who to VOTE ar....
Mind suddenly blank de.

But I think I vote the correct one... Should Be lah....
I very KIASU also, put a very BIG CROSS on it ar, so they can see clearly mah....

Ha..Haa....
Looking forward to the next POLLING liao...

EVE of Polling Day (5 May 05)

Everyone was Excited about the POLLING DAY...

The Worst thing is that my colleague ask me where my Voting Centre is?
My reply: Sembawang Secondary School lah...
They will like all (???) How come so FAR away from my home
(Appr. Walking about 20mins) Ha...Ha...

I say I don't leh, I heard my Bro say Sembawang Sec Sch, I think mine also the same.
I did'nt get to see my Voting Paper mah, and i also duno where is it been kept?

Then one of my colleague who stay opposite me, say her voting centre @ Canberra Sec, how come I so far @ Sembawang Sec. I just shake my head and say I dunno????

They allocate me @ Sembawang Sec, then i go there loh...

When I reach hme the night before Voting day, I ask MUM....

ME:Why my colleague stay next block @ Canberra Sec and we got to go to Sembawang Sec huh, so far away leh??

MUM: No lah, We also @ Canberra Sec, Who told you @ Sembawang Sec.

Then I point at Kor Kor......

Kor Kor: No lah, I say mine @ Semabawang Sec, not you lah.

I was like HUH!!!
All the while, I tell everyone I @ Sembawang Sec leh....
Wow lau, So KUKU leh....

Haa.... HA......
Everybody laughing out LOUD...

Visit to Karen House

One Month after Karen give birth to here Baby Boy, Thow Chin ask us to collect an Ang Pao for Karen Baby Boy Full Month.

1 week later, Karen met up with Ros to help her to distribute the Full Month Cake as Ros is staying very near her.

Ros, without knowing that the Ang Pao is still with me, happily collected the Card and distribute to us the next Morning...

I was like,
AH... Ros, the ANG PAO still with me leh, when you collect the cake from her huh?

Ros: Huh??? I thought you give it to Karen already, So i happily go and collect from her.
Wow lau, very Pai Seh leh, didn't pay then take, Laughing out LOUD.....
(Haa....Haa)

Jokingly, Cat say since Pay & Bonus by end of the Month, Why not we KAPO the ANG PAO and give her the Pay Slip, that one more money......
Agreed with Cat, Nodding my Head.....

AT Last, after 1 & 1/2 months, after BABY ZENNETH born, we drop by at Karen house, to see how both MUMMY & BABY doing....

Well, could say both are doing GOOD...
Karen doesn't look like she had given birth, She Slim down quite fast except for a small Tummy.

BABY ZENNETH seem to know what we are talking about.
He keep wanting people to carry him, whenever I scold him "NAUGHTY BOY" a few time he cried.
